Brisbane based referee Rebecca Durcau was selected to officiate in the inaugural AFC Women's Champions League group stage in China. This is the first official year of the competition, after a pilot program in November 2023 in Thailand. Rebecca took charge of the opening match between Wuhan Jiangda and Abu Dhabi Country Club.
